BDFast, a real revolution in fittings, was born out of the experience of the designers at Bucchi and the activity of its labs.
BDfast is a polypropylene pressure fitting for flexible hoses, which replaces the traditional solution of the pressure clamps.
Its characteristics are such that it can be used to connect hoses of different diameter and wall thickness and make it a universal solution for a large variety of applications.
BDfast is the new way for connecting hoses and it was first shown at the latest Eima exhibition; such is the innovation of Bucchi's latest article that it was signalled as "technical novelty" by Unacoma at the International Exhibition for agricultural machinery.
BDfast is the result of the constant research pursued at Bucchi in several fields, with a view to finding the most efficient materials and solutions for the single application fields. The project leading to creating BDFast has been followed in collaboration with the University at Parma and the faculty of engineering; in the last few months it was further developed to establish a real "BDFast System".
At present the article is produced in the solutions PN10, PN13 e PN2. BDfast PN10 in particular was designed and produced in order to satisfy the more and more frequent requests of users, to rapidly connect hoses to machines and various apparatus.
The hoses of different diameters and thicknesses can be connected in a reliable and safe way, thanks to a special inner gasket which perfectly shapes and fits itself to the various pipe characteristics within the range of the fitting: smooth, spiralled, cross-linked.
The next target for the technicians at Bucchi is a new solution BDfast PN10, which will include a range of elements mostly used in swimming pools, whirlpool baths, thermal plants, spas.
